"UTSAV 2017"-Our college art fest

Our college art fest was mainly conducted on 26th and 27th October 2017 but it was actually a one week full celebration programme for us .We enjoyed a lot during those days. We the students were mainly divided into 4 groups namely Ruby, Emerald , Pearl and Diamond . I belonged to team Ruby. There were more than 30 competition items for us. Such as Thiruvathira , Oppana , Margamkali , Mime, Skit, Folk dance, Classical dance , Story writing, Recitation, Elecution ,Rangoli , Clay modeling, Painting and Drawing, Tableau, Monoact,Folk song etc .We witnessed a very tight competition there. I also participated in many items. Our Ruby team got the over all championship . We all felt so happy and the programme ended successfully and happily, giving us some precious memories.

 We celebrated the 70th independence day of our country at our college.The celebration was very harmonious in its sense that it make us feel proud as being part of India. We were divided into three groups namely Raagam, Thaalam and Layam . There were many competition held such as elocution, patriotic song , National Anthem  and  Tableau. I participate in patriotic song competition, National Anthem competition and in Tableau and our team got first prize in patriotic song and National anthem. The programme was succesful and we got appreciated by our teachers and the Principal

Role of teacher in digital era

A teacher's role involves more than simply standing in front of a classroom and lecturing. A teacher serves many roles in the classrooms , builds warm environment, mentor, nurture students, becomes role models.
               Teacher needs to meet the standards of curriculum while enhancing students creativity, curiosity and motivation. With the rapid technological developments , during the last few years, new methods and areas of utilization have emerged in the field of education. The educational system is constantly being changed to offer better education to more people, at the same time as technologocal development continually opens up new possibilities and methods of learning .
                 As  a professional practisioner.the  teacher is likely to become a role model for his or her students. The teacher should also be a subject developer. The role of teacher in the 21st century has become more complex in todays changing world were knowledge is almost unlimited. Teachers are expected to become technological oriented and responsible for their reaching but also for their student's learning. They have to cater for special needs of individual student and create student centerd learning environment which tries for excellence and offers opportunities for enquiry and active learning. Teachers are central to the effectiveness of technology infrastructure that serves education
            

ELection 2017

         

The election for the new union was organised on 28-09-17. It was a wonderful experience for me as i was a candidate among them. I was made a candidate for the post of Nature Club Secretory. This was the first time in my life as a candidate and finally when the result came , I was so shocked as i got elected as the Nature Club Secretory.

         

On 04-10-17, we took the oath and take on charge for the respective post given to us.
